Hello, it’s been a while.
It’s been a long and winding road, in fact. But we are nearly here.
My editor would tell me off for using ‘but’ as the starting word of a sentence, yet here we are.
What have I been doing in the meantime?
- Liaising with the editorial and design team at Cranthorpe Millner. Lots of back and forth, lots of patience with me on their behalf.
- Building up my Instagram profile, where you can find information about the book, about me, my inspiration, as well as sneak peaks of the story.
- Neglecting my website (clearly, given the lack of new content). Although I am now proud to announce that the domain is fully up and running (5* effort for the technophobe I am).
- Excavating a medieval abbey, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm.
- Enjoying the 30°C heat in the Midlands!! Well, enjoying it at the weekends, not so much at work, when I am non-stop outside in full sun and dust. And ‘the weekends’ only applies to reading on a blanket in the garden, rather than being stuck indoors with admin stuff to sort out.
What can you expect soon?
- A big, BIG announcement. A Reverie Tale is closer to being with you than ever.
- New, exciting content on my website: discover the otherworlds and take a peek at what’s about to come.
- Exclusive content via a newsletter and Instagram.
- watch out for giveaways…
- Regular updates via my website
- Hints and tips about the publishing process, from someone who has been there and done it.
As always, thank you for all your love and support. The last couple of months have been absolutely hectic and they are about to get even more so. Wish me luck.
Not that luck is a concept much recognised in the otherworlds.
